    Options Pricing

In Module 1 of the Options Mastery Course, we dive into how options are priced. A thorough understanding of option pricing will give you a greater appreciation of how we can effectively trade the markets. The strategies we adopt using options, such as the Covered Call, and various Spread strategies, are in fact a Probability approach to the markets. By knowing how an option price is calculated, you can begin to understand how option prices react to various stock and market price movements.

    Understanding Options Intuitively

In Module 2, we introduce you to the basic Greek calculations. Having established how an options price is calculated in Module 1, we take the concept of Probability further by explaining why the various components of an option price will react differently. This module paves the way for our strategy development as we start to look at trading in a different way. Using options as an investment will no longer be about whether a stock price is rising or falling. It is now about whether the Greeks stack up for the strategy, and whether or not the markets are telling us there is an opportunity to profit on the position.

    Tools for Options Trading

Module 3 of the Building the Foundation segment of the Options Mastery Course takes the first two lessons and starts to show you how we implement tools to evaluate strategy. The Payoff Diagram is a visual method of highlighting Profitability, Loss, the Breakeven and what the value of the option will be at certain stock price levels, on expiration of the option contract. We will be using the Payoff Diagram throughout the course when discussing strategies. At this level, you will have a thorough understanding of Option Pricing, the reaction of the option price to price changes in the underlying, Time Decay and Volatility changes.
