Trader of the Month – January 2019: One of the most rewarding jobs we have as a team is reviewing the Trader of The Month Nominations. And this month was another bell ringer.

Thus, This is a great example of building on what was covered in Bootcamp. And applying it, for real, with real money and enjoying the results.

Certainly, This is a great example of just how important taking action really.

Hi Andrew and team,

Thought I’d give drop in a quick nomination for January 2019.

TRADE DETAILS:

Purchased 500x Abercrombie & Finch (ANF) shares on December 29th 2018

Entry was $19.50 which I held for a few days expecting a bit of a run.

On 3rd January I sold 5x 01/Feb $21 covered calls for $1.04 each

These were exercised giving the following return:

Long position = $19.50 –> $21.00 = $1.50 x 500 = $750
Short position = $1.04 x 500 = $520Total = $1270
Return = 13.02%

I’ve traded ANF a few times since November’s bootcamp for great results each time.

Really enjoying the ride so far. Thank you for making these skills so easily accessible.

Ignoring the noise and focusing on the prize is the name of the game here and Michael is a more than deserving candidate for stepping up to the plate and making it happen. What a great example to set for your family!
